With the unpredictable weather and essential tasks and maintenance required to be carried out on site this winter we are currently closed for all General Hire and Self Launch activities throughout November - February.
We are however still open for First Aid Courses and British Canoeing Awarding Body Courses where possible and taking group bookings for 2026!

Centre Opening Hours Update - September 2025
With the weather begining to change our opening hours are changing too!
September: Open Weds - Sun each week for General Hire, Self Launch and Taster Sessions. Open for Courses & Private Group Bookings 7 days a week.
October: Open Weds - Sun each week for General Hire, Self Launch and Taster Sessions outside of School Holidays. Open for Courses & Private Group Bookings 7 days a week.
November, December, January, February: Closed for all water activities. Open for Land Activities, First Aid Courses and Private Group Bookings

Hire & Launch Cancelled this Sunday (31st August) due to High Winds
Sadly we have had to make the decision to cancel all hire & launch activities this Sunday (31/08/25) due to the forecast of strong gusts of wind (30 mph plus), with these conditions we cannot provide a safe and enjoyable experience on the reservoir for those booked in for unsupervised activities.
Instructor lead activities will continue to run as normal with our team of highly experienced instructors utilising the sheltered bay areas of the reservoir.
If you have already made a booking with us for Hire or Launch activities during this period we will be in touch to provide you either with a voucher valid until the end of October to rebook another time or alternatively a full refund.
