This one day course is aimed at covering any aspects of the British Canoeing Paddlesports Leader Award which you believe you may require more practice in before attending an assessment. Topic areas include: leadership and group safety management skills from a craft of your choice in benign, sheltered waters.
Fire Lighting, Shelter Building, Natural Navigation, Foraging, Animal Tracking, Camp Fire Cooking.
60 minute session covering technique with an air of competition.

Please note the minimum age for Axe Throwing is 14 years old.
From our centre we will have a gentle paddle exploring bays and inlets on our journey up towards the Dam wall, on our way heading back up we will find a nice spot at the side to moor up and provide you with a warm drink from our Kelly kettle before continuing on to the final part of our journey.
Along the way there is plenty of amazing wildlife to look out for including Grebes, Herons and even Kingfishers and a spectacular view of the Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshaw Rocks!
