About Us

Tittesworth Water Sports and Activity Centre is now one of the largest independent activity centres in the Staffordshire. We are based on the shores of Tittesworth Reservoir, near Leek in Staffordshire.

The reservoir itself is owned and managed by Severn Trent Water who use the site as its flagship visitor site in Staffordshire operating from the visitor centre on the opposite side of the lake to us. The reservoir is Staffordshire's second largest at 190 acres, renowned for it's stunning views of the Roaches, a dramatic gritstone edge, there is something for everyone to enjoy on the site which borders the Peak District National Park.

We are a small family run business, with over 20 years of water sports experience, holding some of the highest British Canoeing (BC) qualifications. Our aim for the centre is to enable families and individuals to access a range of outdoor pursuits activities in a beautiful setting delivered to a high standard. Whether you'd like to try something new or develop existing skills we hope you'll find something here for you...if not then please do contact us and we will do everything in our power to make it happen for you. We are continually developing our range of activities, establishing links with organisations and growing our team of experienced staff who share our vision for the centre. This will enable us to fulfill our long term goals for the centre.

Since opening the centre back in summer 2015 we've grown substantially in both the activities we offer and the facilities we are now able to provide! Our kit store has definetly got a lot bigger aswell with enough kit currently to facilitate 140 people on the water at the same time comapred to 30 people back in 2015!
In 2017 we achieved the British Canoeing Quality Mark, an accredited process which assesses our activities and processes annually against a strict framework outlined by the National Governing Body for Paddlesport, we have exceeded the minimum standards ever since!

In the years to come we hope to build on our success and look into developing and introducing additional activities which share our current ethos

If there is something specific that you are looking for but do not see it advertised please do contact us - if we can't fulfil it we may be able to point you in the right direction.

We use top quality equipment from a range of suppliers to ensure that all of the activities we offer are enjoyed by people of all ages. As you would expect, safety is paramount and our fully qualified staff are always on hand to offer guidance and support during your visit.

Founded by Paul Bull Coaching, which has been in operation since 2009 the centre now also caters for the more advanced white water kayakers and canoeists.
